Overview

This guide shows you how to run your first Begini assessment in minutes using the no-code link generator.

By the end of this process, you will:

• Generate assessment links
• Send users through the assessment
• Receive and review results in Beacon

No API integration is required for this initial setup.

What you need before starting

Before you begin, make sure you have:

• Access to the Beacon dashboard
• At least one active deployment configured

You do not need an API integration for this quick start.

Step 1 — Generate assessment links

Begini allows you to create assessment links directly from Beacon, without writing any code.

To generate links:

1. Navigate to the Link Generator within Beacon
2. Select the deployment you want to use
3. Enter a name for the batch of links
4. Choose how many links you want to generate
5. Create the links
6. Download the generated list from the Link Generator screen

Each link represents a unique assessment session that can be sent to an individual user.

Step 2 — Send users through the assessment

Once generated, each link can be shared with a user via:

• SMS
• WhatsApp
• Email
• In-app messaging

The user will:

• Open the link on their device
• Complete a short, mobile-optimised assessment
• Interact with a series of tasks designed to capture behavioural signals

The assessment is designed to be simple, fast and accessible across devices.

Step 3 — Assessment completion and result generation

As soon as the assessment is completed:

• Begini processes the behavioural data in real time
• A risk score and supporting signals are generated immediately

At this stage, no additional action is required.

Results are automatically available in Beacon.

Step 4 — View results in Beacon

You can view all completed assessments within the Beacon dashboard.

For each user, you will see:

• Risk score
• Trait-level insights
• Trust / confidence indicators
• Completion details and timing

This allows you to quickly understand user risk and behaviour without relying on traditional credit data.

Optional — Integrate via API

Once you have validated the assessment flow, you can integrate Begini directly into your application.

This allows you to:

• Create sessions programmatically
• Receive results via API or webhook
• Embed the assessment into your existing journey

Optional — Enhance with Device Data

Begini can be extended with Device Data SDKs to capture additional behavioural and fraud-related signals.

This is typically implemented after the initial assessment flow is validated.
